Description

Series 3000 Machine Tried and true rugged design. Microprocessor-controlled fusion splicer produces fixed, low loss connections between optical fibers. Automatically adjusts to temperature and altitudes for universal field use. The LID-SYSTEM unit (Local Injection and Detection System) monitors light injected into the core of the fibers and provides the lowest splice loss possible for singlemode fibers, dispersion-shifted and multimode fibers to a maximum coating diameter of 900um. LID (Local Injection and Detection) System Automatic Fiber Positioning and Fusion L-PAS Video Splice Analysis with Programs for Specialty Fiber Splice Losses Measured at 1300nm Attenuation Splice Program for Manufacturing Attenuators up to 10dB Built-In Protection Sleeve Heater.
