Description

The new USB level control sensors R&S®NRP-Z28/-Z98 combine a low-reflective power splitter and a 3-path diode power sensor within one precisely calibrated box. They are primarily conceived for monitoring the power fed into a UUT.

They

  • come fully calibrated
  • eliminate any cable losses
  • reduce mismatch uncertainty to a minimum due to their excellent output VSWR (e.g. 1.11 for 9 kHz to 2.4 GHz)


That means:

The power level incident at the UUT can very accurately be monitored as following figure impressively shows comparing a setup with NRP-Z28 to a setup where the power level fed into the UUT is derived from the level setting of the signal generator.
