The SMF100A microwave signal generator delivers pure signals up to 43.5 GHz. New options can extend the frequency range of SMF100A upward to 43.5 GHz and downward from 1 GHz to 100 kHz. These new capabilities are particularly attractive for the aerospace and defense sector as well as manufacturers of microwave modules and components who demand a highly precise, flexible signal source covering a wide frequency range.

The SMF100A microwave signal generator offers an output power of up to +26 dBm (at 20 GHz). It is thus an ideal signal source for mixer measurements. This unit even replaces local oscillators of high-level mixers without requiring an additional amplifier, which simplifies the test setup and reduces costs. The SMF100A has an unprecedented SSB value of typ. -120 dBc (at 10 GHz/10 kHz offset) and its high harmonics and spurious suppression allow users to control DUTs by means of ultra-pure signals.
