Sumitomo FCP-25 Ribbon Fiber Cleaver

For cleaving multiple optical fibers and single fiber both with 250 um and 900 um coatings. The cleaver has a sliding shuttle which passes a very sharp rotating blade beneath the glass fiber. The blade scores the fiber creating a minute flaw in the glass. When the cleaver anvil stresses the fibers the glass fractures at the score mark, leaving a perpendicular and smooth fiber end face suitable for splicing. 1 to 4 Fibers. Works with up to 125 micron cladding.
